Our family has been making wine in Languedoc for 9 generations. In 2018 we purchased Château des Adouzes. This is the great red wine terroir we were looking for, with old vines deeply rooted in exceptional schist soil.
The estate is located in the medieval village of Roquessels in the heart of the AOP Faugères. This small Languedoc appellation is exclusively made up of one of the rarest and most sought-after terroirs in the world, schist.
The 35 Ha vineyard has a majority of old vines including some Carignan vines over 90 years old.
The tiger symbolizes the power and balance that we seek in our wines.
