    • Montrose Chardonnay has character. It is an elegant wine. We prefer ageing it stainless steel tank rather than in oak barrels to preserve its freshness, its fruity aromas and its mineralty. It perfectly represents the balance we are looking for in our wines.

    • Terroir
    • Volcanic, chalky-clay and pebbly.
    • Winemaking
    • Each terroir is vinified separately. Grapes are destemmed before a short skin contact or a direct pressing. Fermentation tempe- rature is maintained between 15°C to 18°C (59° F to 64°F) to enhance frutiness. Wines resulting for the differents terroirs are blended after fermenta- tion and then aged in stainless steel vats. Wine is bottled during winter and spring.

    • Yellow colour with green glints. Nose of fresh fruits. Notes of citrus and white peach. Elegant wine combining roundness and freshness. Drink young.
