TERRA VITIS
sustainable farming
We are Terra Vitis certified.
This certification recognises winegrowers who are committed to responsible and sustainable viticulture.
It reflects our efforts to practise more virtuous farming.
CARBON NEUTRALITY
Since 2018, we have been measuring and reducing our carbon emissions.
We have taken action where it matters most:
- most of our bottles are lightweight with less than 420g;
- most of our production runs on renewable energy.
What we cannot yet eliminate, we offset by funding certified carbon offset projects.
Biodiversity
We preserve uncultivated ecosystems around our vineyards (woods and garrigue).
We also have a programme to plant Mediterranean trees (olive, almond, oak, quince, and others): 3,000 trees from 21 local species.
In the vineyard, grass cover between the rows helps limit erosion, nourish the soils and reduce the need for inputs.
Finally, our beehives, installed on the estate, contribute to pollination and reflect the quality of this ecosystem.
Biodiversity helps to regulate the vineyard’s microclimate and provide a refuge for local wildlife and plant life.
